Considering bees are a working animal that is there to be extracted, you did a good job convincing me to upgrade to a flow hive to try it out.

As for foulbrood, bleach sterilization is sufficient.

What I wanna know is how they train all of the bees to leave the honey super before they flip the switch and make the honey pour out. Because otherwise, the honey would drown the bees and they would end up in your “pure” honey that you didn’t really do much to earn anyways. And yes, plastic is bad, for ALL lifeforms. That’s just a plain fact.

I’m only going on 3 years as a beekeeper, but even I know that part of what is so awesome about being a beekeeper is interacting with this amazing life form, having reverence and respect for the miracles that they are and produce. The hard work, including all of the reading and research in fascination as to what they are and do is what makes beekeeping worth doing.

These critics claiming they copied are absurd. Yeah people might have patented a ton of better products, or maybe Flow Hive did copy them – who cares. Flow Hive put the money, resources into putting it on the market. They made it real.

Ideas are a dime a dozen – execution is much more important.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion when making decisions. PLEASE
educate yourself on this product. I have emailed them my concerns about
the PLASTIC they use and they simply state its BPA safe. 2 weeks later, they did a mass email saying their product is now being produced. (they were not concerned or cared to research about the BPA-free scam). Scientists are
NOW finding out that “BPA safe” is a scam. Bees are very delicate, and susceptible to even the minimal of toxins. That’s why they are dying
off. And this company wants to introduce bees to this toxic plastic?
They don’t care about the bees, they just want to mass produce this
product and make money. ask yourself this: in 5 years when it becomes
“main stream” and you KNOW that the plastic is toxic. What rights do you
have, what compensation will you have, what damage have you done to
your body with this toxic honey you have been ingesting for years? All I
ask is to please educate yourself on the fraudulent lies that are being
spread on BPA-FREE plastics! I really appreciate and enjoy the new digital format. The home page presents the contents in a real natural and accessible way. Also congratulations on the smooth reader interface, I can now just scroll over an article read all I want and go back to the content page with a click or two. It’s a shame to see the transformation of a good scientific magazine into a third class publication ,all of this for money .”we have dramatically improve the experience with our digital edition ” says Flottum . The following are gone :1 or 2 pages visible at our choice,
ability to see the previous editions,ability to copy the articles of our choice,ability to have the text or the pictures cover almost entirely
the screen on the computer etc .A lot of space is wasted on the screen with for example :BEE CULTURE WEBVIEW – SIGN OUT -etc .Why do we need facebook and others being accessed on this site ?-You are late by 2 months with your publication.-This was a bad decision on your part and we are paying for it .
